This captures the horrors of WWI perfectly.  As we approach the hundredth anniversary we would do well to remember.

Here is where the battle of Somme took place, in France. I would like to see these trenches that were created during the first world war.

For nearly 4 years, the Allies & Germany fought over the Butte de Vauquois. The battle included a deadly series of attacks in which more than 500 mines were exploded beneath trenches, tunnels & buildings in the town.
