A MID-19TH CENTURY DIAMOND TIARA Composed of a series of nine old-cut diamond graduating flowerhead clusters centred by old-cut pear and cushion shape diamond collet highlights, interspersed by ten similarly-set stylised cusp motifs of ribbon scroll design, raised on an undulating diamond line frame, mounted in silver and gold, circa 1850. Each flowerhead cluster detachable to form a brooch.
Another film-jeweller collaboration between Cartier and director Olivier Dahan for the film Grace of Monaco’. Cartier created reproductions of five of Grace Kelly, later Princess Grace of Monacos Cartier jewels, including this 1955 tiara, transformable into a necklace.
Emerald Diamond Tiara A German noble family in Westphalia owned this stunning emerald and diamond tiara, c. 1910. It was worn at an official dinner given by Kaiser Wilhelm II by an ancestor of the present owner and sold for $253,555.
