I don't know the origin of this image, but look at the proliferation of symbols! That looks like the moon under her feet (as in the Immaculate Conception), the Immaculate Heart on her chest, and the rosary in her hand.
The Angel of the Lord appeared unto Mary, and she conceived of the Holy Spirit. "I am the handmaid of the Lord; be it done to me according to Thy Word." The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. When praying the Rosary, think of this image: proceed from Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through Mary and back again, which is the rhythm that underpins meditating on the Rosary: to pray the Rosary is to get keyed into the Incarnation.
Remember, O Most Loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help,or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we turn to you, o Virgin of virgins, Our Mother. To you we come, before you we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the World Incarnate, do not despise our petitions, but in your mercy hear us and answer us. Amen. (Our Lady of Rosary feast 7th october)
Polish madonna. POLISH LEGEND HAS IT THAT THE BRIGHT WARMTH OF THE SUN MUST SMILE UPON THE EARTH ON SATURDAY, IF ONLY FOR A BRIEF MOMENT, IN REMEBRANCE OF CHRIST'S INFANCY WHEN ON THAT DAY MARY WOULD WASH IMMACULATELY CLEAN HIS SWADDLING CLOTHS SO THAT SUNDAY MIGHT FIND DELIGHT IN WITNESSING THE BABY GOD CLOTHED IN PURE FRESH SCENTED DRESS.
