Fala, President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Scottish terrier, arrived at his new home at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue on November President Roosevelt named the little dog “Murray the Outlaw of Falahill” after a Scottish ancestor, but called him “Fala” for short.

Found by former president Johnson's daughter Luci at a gas station in Texas, Yuki, a mixed breed, liked to perform in the Oval Office. In this photo, she sings with Johnson for the U.S. ambassador to Great Britain, David K.E. Bruce. She was one of the President's favorite dogs. President Johnson also had two beagles which he named Him and Her!

Yuki, who liked to sing, was found at a Texas gas station by President Lyndon Johnson's daughter Luci. He was one of the President's favorite dogs.

Presidential Pets of the Past: Richard Nixon & his dog Checkers

Richard Nixon delivered the Checkers speech to the American people on September it was named after his dog, a Cocker Spaniel.

After catching the spy, Stubby made U. history by becoming the first dog to be promoted to sergeant through combat. He even wore the Iron Cross of the German he captured on his doggie jacket, among his many other accolades.
