BEAUTIFUL TOMB MARKER OF MARGARET ANJOU  23 MAR 1430 – 25 AUG 1482  WIFE OF HENRY VI - KING OF ENGLAND.  SHE WAS ENTOMBED NEXT TO HER PARENTS IN ANGERS CATHEDRAL / FRANCE - BUT THEIR REMAINS WERE REMOVED AND SCATTERED  BY REVOLUTIONARIES WHO RANSACKED THE CATHEDRAL DURING THE FRENCH REVOLUTION ~ IT'S REALLY SOMETHING.  I'D LOVE TO SEE THIS.

Margaret of Anjou Mar 1430 – 25 Aug wife of Henry VI, King of England. She was entombed next to her parents in Angers Cathedral, France but her remains were removed and scattered by revolutionaries who ransacked the cathedral during the French Revolution.

On this day 8th October,1200, Isabella of Angouleme (in Western France) was crowned Queen consort of England as the second wife of King John until his death in 1216. She had give children by the king including his heir, later Henry III. In 1220 she remarried and had a further nine children.

Isabella of Angoulême was the daughter and heiress of Aymer Taillefer, Count of Angoulême and Alice of Courtenay, who was sister of Peter II of Courtenay, Emperor of Constantinople and granddaughter of King Louis VI of France.
