A very rare Civil War era six gallon stoneware crock with an American eagle holding a banner with the words Union For Ever.  It was made in New York City at the pottery of W. A. MacQuoid & Co., Little West 12th St.  Other than a long hairline on the front of the rim, it's in very good condition.        MRA-05031$ 26,500
