Back in the day, youngsters had more interest in railroads. A majority of boys, and some girls, asked for a train set for Christmas. They also collected trading cards but not all of them were about baseball. This one shows a colorful rendering of a Milwaukee Road set of Electo-Motive FT diesels. The FT's were new back in the 1940's so it's a good bet this card dates from that decade.
