EL PRESENTE: 85 años después de que se descubriera a Plutón, la misión de la NASA "Nuevos Horizontes" ha conseguido tomar unas imágenes de Nix y Hydra, dos de los satélites del planeta enano. Estas dos lunas, que fueron descubiertas en el año 2005 por la misma nave, tienen un diámetro de alrededor de 40-150 km y se estudiarán con más detalle a medida que la distancia con "Nuevos Horizontes" se acorte. Recordemos que esta misión tiene como objeto estudiar en detalle Plutón.
