When I was nine years old, Star Trek came on. I looked at it and I went screaming through the house, “Come here, mum, everybody, come quick, come quick, there’s a black lady on television and she ain’t no maid!” I knew right then and there I could be anything I wanted to be. — Whoopi Goldberg

See the swag lady on the left? That Deborah Ann Woll, the amazing Karen Page in Daredevil. See the cool guy on the right? That's her husband, E. J. He is a fan of Daredevil and has a degenerative disease that causes blindness. It was a very important role for Deborah because of having a blind superhero on TV. Her husband dressed as Matt Murdock for the premiere red carpet, with the Daredevil symbol beneath his shirt. What an amazing story :)) #RepresentationMatters !!
