2002 Costers del Siurana Priorat Clos de L'Obac, Spain. Consumed 130101. Just as great as Miserere but with a little less tannins a little bit more fruity. Even the high alc is well integrated. Bought at the wineyard.
2004 Clos de l'Obac, Estate Red, Priorat, Gratallops: A blend of Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon first and foremost, then 10% each of Syrah, Merlot and Carinena, this is an archetype of Priorat: floral, rich, long and refined, with myrtle, cassis and dark chocolate to the fore. This 2004 is a great vintage here, as elsewhere in Spain, and this will continue to evolve over many years. Simon Field MW, Wine Buyer
