A simple "graphic organizer" type of project that you can use for a Center or give as a gift to dad. When I make it, I have my student glue each sheet to blue construction paper....it looks very cute that way!

I printed a class set of these and laminated. Each year, I pull them out and they're a great tool when teaching endings. Kids write the base word in the red light. Then, they add the -ed and -ing version of the word. A free tool I thought I'd share since I found it useful.

If you're planning on growing seeds in your classroom, then you need a journal so that your students can track the growth process. Here's a great little journal that is perfect for primary grades. You can copy the inside pages however you'd like. I start out with the pictures only pages then progress to the pages that ask for words. The back page asks students to reflect back upon what plants have and need.

Get your kids writing and having fun at the same time. 45 writing cards (15 Character Cards, 15 Setting Cards and 15 Action Cards) will create some great story ideas. Can be used over and over because students will get different combinations each time! Includes a worksheet for them to write their story on and extra lines for those advanced writers. (Two different style lines to suit either first or second grade writers).
