Grade 1 listed Smeatons Tower, a (non working) lighthouse on Plymouth Hoe, about 3 miles from my home in the hills in the background! It originally stood out at sea on the Eddystone Rocks, but was rebuilt brick by brick overlooking the main bay across Plymouth known as “Plymouth sound”. This is a globally recognised symbol of my city. It is open to the public sometimes, but there are 93 steps to to the top!
