Whale Tail Desk. Measuring 75-1/2" w. x 57-1/2" d. x 32" h. The design of this desk was inspired by the form of the rare North Atlantic Right Whale, as it breeches in preparation for a deep dive. The high gloss finish on the Macassar Ebony creates a "wet look" effect that adds visual realism to the design. This desk was created in early 2002 as the showcase exhibit for World Wildlife Fund's "Forest Leadership Forum" in Atlanta, Georgia. It is currently part of a private collection in Moscow.
