Wind Wolves: Tall Grass by Wayne Wong on Capture Kern County // This is a companion to the previous post, Lush and Lavish Valley High. The scene was so beautiful that I could not take it all in at once...it wasn't until I edited it that I saw the scope and depth of the land. We are about to go up a hill to the next level to the left, that shot was posted as "Wind Wolves: Final Approach as Seen Out the Window"

Wind Wolves: Fiddle Neck Meets Bee by Wayne Wong on Capture Kern County // This was the only successful photograph of a bee the whole day. The bees were very fast around the poppies and my only chance was to capture one landing on a pre-focused spot.

Wind Wolves: Lupine Up Close by Wayne Wong on Capture Kern County // It was breezy at times when we all got to our third stop of our sunrise to sunset adventure. We stayed here for some time, but the shots turned out to be more challenging than I had thought. The lighting in this shot is exceptional and very transient. It is that warm, cozy feeling that gives you a feeling of great comfort and satisfaction..

Wind Wolves: Floral Propagation by Wayne Wong on Capture Kern County // Early in the morning as I wandered up to the top of the hill, I found these two lovely pinkish flowers, arranged with a third one beginning to bloom in the center to the back. They looked like parents and child, propagating after their kind.
