Pramipexole (Mirapex) is a DA agonist of the non-ergoline class for PD and restless legs syndrome (RLS). It is also sometimes used for cluster headache and to counteract problems with sexual dysfunction from SSRIs. Pramipexole acts as an agonist at the following receptors: D2S (Ki = 3.9 nM) D2L (Ki = 2.2 nM) D3 (Ki = 0.5 nM) D4 receptor (Ki = 5.1 nM). It also possesses low/insignificant affinity (500-10,000 nM) for the 5-HT1A, 5-HT1B, 5-HT1D, and α2-adrenergic receptors.
Carbamazepine (CBZ) (Tegretol) is an anticonvulsant and mood-stabilizing drug used for epilepsy and bipolar disorder, as well as trigeminal neuralgia.
