From dark clouds we get precious water. From dark mines we get valuable jewels. And from our darkest trials come our best blessing from God.

As I was reading my bible this morning I also read a posting from biblegateway.com that reminded me that each morning I must renew my trust in the Lord. God gave manna in the morning and quail in the evening. They were to gather just enough for the day. Just as the birds are cared for day to day by the Lord, so too are we. Each day I renew my trust in the Lord to sustain me today. That His Spirit will guide and strengthen me, giving me wisdom, understanding, patience and gentleness…
