Meet Our Speakers: Jeremy Gentles - Founder of Sportably, is a PhD Candidate in Sport Science at East Tennessee State University and for a number of years, served as ObesityHelp's Exercise Physiologist. In addition to his experience with bariatric surgery as a treatment for obesity and type II diabetes, his research interests include sport technology, long-term athlete monitoring, and acute/chronic biochemical responses to training.

At 452 pounds, Bryson Jenkins had a mild stroke at the age of 19 and then a heart attack at 21. His struggle with obesity was literally killing him. Bryson's survivor instincts kicked in and he put a plan into action to save his life and regain his health. On January 4th, 2010, Bryson had gastric bypass. Since that life changing day, he has lost a total of 232 pounds and with that loss, he has gained health, confidence and a belief in himself and his abilities.
