Katherine Duke found true love and was married to another professor, Don Duke who had a doctorate in Accounting. The pair of docs lived near various university campuses as their careers progressed and devoted their freetime to volunteerwork liking helping the Native American Indians out west on missionary work. She wrote many things including several books in her freetime. The titles are: Love Always, Miracles of Love, Agape Means Love, Basheba's Boy
Katherine Duke was born in Prattville, Alabama and graduated from Prattville High School to continue with a scholarship for higher education. She finished with a doctorate in Social Work and became Dean of Woman at a Woman's College.
