"Bridging Boundaries: Redefining Diaspora" is a collaborative arts expo developed by the African Students Association, Postcrypt Art Gallery, and Art in FLUX.

In 1955, Arthur Mitchell became the first African-American male dance in a major ballet company (The New York City Ballet, Also, in 1956, he became the first African-American principal dancer of a major ballet company. In 1969, he became the first African-American founder of a classical training school and company of ballet: Arthur Mitchell, Dance Theater of Harlem.
