George Mountbatten Olga & Maria, Lord Mountbatten was Prince Charles' uncle. As a young boy, Lord Mountbatten was said to have been in love with Grand Duchess Marie.

Here is a photo of Grand Duchess Anastasia and her brother the Tsarevitch Alexei, circa 1910.  All of the Grand Duchesses were very attached to their brother, especially Anastasia, who was closest to him in age.
