Remember spending hours shelling purple hull and field peas with my grandmother. Always loved it and I still have the old metal dish pan we shelled in and blanched the peas in before we put them up in the freezer. Sweet memories.
Aspiring Homemaker : Several baskets filled with pecans. It's a little overwheming thinking about us shelling all those, but its worth it in the end....right? haha! So much for a pecan shortage this year
