French Belle Epoque natural sapphire and diamond ring bearing French platinum hallmarks and a makers mark on this rare original french ring. The stone surround and ring under gallery feature delicate piercing and early cut, bead set diamonds. The central Ceylon sapphire weighs between 6 & 7 carats. The mounting is a wonderful example of early platinum work.
