It began in 1871 by Colonel Billy Edwards, a businessman from Cleveland, Ohio.   2014 marks the 143rd year of the premier harness attraction in the United States.  The Grand Circuit visits over 20 tracks annually and is enjoying a revitalization thanks to the leadership of president John Campbell.
