Inspired by a Rene Lalique piece, "Honey of the New World" was created for the International Opal Jewellery Design Awards and brought home the winning place. It features one hand carved Juniper Ridge opal by a multi-award winning opal carver. Also, two Mexican fire opals and two cute honey bees add to the theme. Three tones of 18 carat gold were used and over 150 hours to create this amazing objet d'art.
