.303 British No5 MK1 Jungle Carbine - My father bought this gun at the local farmer's market back in the 60s and used it for hunting. You can't do that now days. I've laid out a number of ground hogs with it and it's nasty accurate with the original iron sights. It packs a wallop too!
This South-Africa-produced Enfield L5A2 sniper rifle was the one used by ex-SADF sniper Pieter Achterberg to shoot African National Congress agitator Nelson Mandela in 1986. While it often alleged that Achterberg was acting on orders from the South African government, the charges were never proven. Achterberg committed suicide in his jail cell three weeks after the shooting, under “extremely suspicious circumstances”.
