Due to today's weather and the cancelation of school on Tuesday, March 3rd... Final exams for PHS will be held for 2nd and 5th hour classes on Wednesday March 4th, 2015. Then the following day on Thursday, March 5th finals will be given in 1st, 4th and 6th hour classes.   PHS students will have off Friday March 6th. **Please note that the printed school calendar is not correct because the trimester has been extended due to the snow days. #PlymouthHSpcsc @ethanrozycki

Student David Bacon III took his own life last night. The PHS junior played on the varsity football team. He's also the police chief's son. The corporation canceled most of its scheduled events today. Classes continued as normal. The schools brought in grief counselors and clergy to help students and staff deal with the tragedy.

Dwight Beguin, a Plymouth High School math teacher was nominated by the PHS student body as teacher of the month of February for creating engaging lesson plans in his classes, caring for his students and being positive. Due to being chosen as teacher of the month Mr. Beguin received a $25 gift card and four gourmet cupcakes from La D’zert Cafe. #PCSCweCare  @PlymouthCSC_IN

Students in the Health Science Program, which is taught at Plymouth High School, recently returned from the HOSA Future Health Professionals State Leadership Conference that was held in Indianapolis during April 10 through April 12. Emily Cochren, one of the of 11 students who attended the HOSA Leadership Conference, placed fifth in Medical Assisting, Felicia Dixon placed in the top ten for Behavioral Health Knowledge test, and Felicia Dixon and Zoelle Zellers placed within the top twenty.

Dual college credit is available for qualifying students. Students could also earn their CNA certification after the program. By the end of this course students can end up with 12 Ivy Tech Credits. Students in this class are currently making parts for a company which repairs track starter pistols. #ChoosePCSC
