Elmina Castle Tour - Ghana West Africa (Part 1)  a Portuguese Port, where Africans were kept after being captured. It was  refered to as the "Door Of No Return!" Those that survived were sent across the Atlantic Ocean to various locations in the most horrific and deplorable conditions. An innumerable amount died during the voyage from dieases, beatings, starvation & suffacation.

This is the first in a series of videos taken during a tour of Elmina Castle, located in Ghana, West Africa. Elmina Castle is one of the places Africans were.

This past June, a group of young black adventurers known as the Expedition Denali Team, became the first all black expedition team to summit the Denali Mountain. Denali, also known as Mount McKinley, is the highest peak in North America.  The Expedition Denali team is comprised of ten climbers: Scott Briscoe, Stephen DeBerry, James Kagambi, Billy Long, Ryan Mitchell, Tyrhee Moore, Robby ReChord, Rosemary Saal, Adina Scott, Stephen Shobe and Erica Wynn.

John Kitzmiller ( 1913 – 1965)[1] was an African-American actor.  Kitzmiller participated in the liberation of Italy during World War II. He began acting while stationed in this country, and appeared in Italian neorealist films. He made Italy his permanent residence and starred in more than fifty European films, often portraying an angry black man fighting racism. He played the leading role of "Jerry" in the film Senza pietà (Without Pity), written by Federico Fellini.

John Kitzmiller ( 1913 – 1965)[1] was an African-American actor. Kitzmiller participated in the liberation of Italy during World War II. Evelyn Preer - One of the first African American silent screen actors to transition into sound Hollywood films. Her versatility as a dramatic actor led her to Hollywood where she became a contract player for Paramount Studios. Preer’s career on the silver screen would have perhaps broadened further had she not developed post-parturition complications and died of double pneumonia in November, 1932 at the age of 36.
