Soon to be St. Teresa of Calcutta!

A Missionary of Charity jumping rope with an orphan boy. *Some pinners say this is Mother Teresa, but doing a closeup on her face, it doesn't match, and I believe she was too frail to jump rope!

During the Teresa 500 Year an icon of Saint Teresa will be present at major events in Britain, and feature on a prayer card. The icon has kindly been lent to the Carmelite Forum of Britain & Ireland.

Pope John Paul II and Mother Theresa of Calcutta

Mother Teresa & Pope John Paul II, 2 of the most inspiring people the world…

This is the deformed foot of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta. Her feet were deformed because she didn't want anyone to get stuck with the worst pair of shoes, so she would dig through the pile and would keep the ill fitting pair for herself. Years of wearing bad shoes deformed her feet.

What caused her feet to become so deformed? She would wait until everyone else had selected the donated shoes giving them the best selection and leaving herself with ill fitting ones.
