1855-65 white organdy by pseitas, via Flickr. Skirt unlined with a deep hem & cartridge pleating. Bodice has low lining with small cap sleeves edged with narrow lace. Gathers in the bodice and sleeves done by folding the fabric, right sides together, and sewing with a running stitch close to the edge then pulling the thread to form gathers... Bust: 30"; Waist: 21"; Back waist length: 14"; shoulder width: 14"; Skirt front length: 41"; Skirt back length: 54"; circumference at hem: 160".
