APPLE-CINNAMON OVERNIGHT OATS (SERVES 1) In a 1-pint jar, mix ¾ cup old-fashioned oats with ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon and 1 tablespoon brown sugar to combine. Add ½ cup to ¾ cup milk (such as whole, skim, almond, soy or coconut; the amount depends on how thick you like your oatmeal). Screw the lid onto the jar and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, top the oatmeal with ⅓ cup applesauce.
