50 years ago today the Fab Four came to the US & did something no British band before them had done… They captured the heart of America. Whether you like them or not, their music was revolutionary for their time. They changed the face of music & are still relevant today. Not many people understand how much they mean to me, but they will always & forever be my favorite. ❤️

This song was one of the first I ever bought. I got it at the Kresge Five and Dime on Michigan Ave in Dearborn, MI. Somewhere I read this band was promoted more in the USA than in England, some promoters ploy to cash in on the popularity of the Beatles. Astroturfed music, I guess. Did I ever think the fish face thing was funny? Truth be told, I probably did. This was in 1965 and I was all of 12.
