The Iceni were a Celtic British tribe inhabiting the area around Norfolk, England, from the 1st century B.C. to approximately the end of the 1st century A.D. They started using coins as a means of payment at around 10 B.C. This particular coin has a stylized horse depicted on it. Other coins would have equally stylized versions of animals.
