Saturday is my one day that I have time to work on things at the house. I have only a few hours to do it, so I make sure that I have the right tools that can do the most work. You know what they say, "a man is only as good as his tools." I have a bunch that help me get the job done in no time at all.
I love seeing these guys! The number one reason is because it usually mean pool time. I also like to see new houses being built in my neighborhood because they are usually custom made and really nice. I think it would be fun to run one of these things.
White's Smokejumpers. Still my favorite boots ever, especially for firefighting. All hand made to my foot measurements, at about $400/pair, still the best money can buy. My 2 pair will probably last the rest of my life.
We always use aerial cranes when we're working on our buildings. We should have bought one a long time ago instead of renting for all those years. I think that cherry pickers can get you into a lot of places that you could never get to with just a ladder. I love working on these things.
The other day I got in a wreck coming back from work. The car behind me didn't see the light turn red, so when I stopped he ran into me. I am grateful for the tow truck that came to pick up my car. As for my sore shoulder, from the seat belt, I am recovering and doing well.
My uncle was a very smart man and he worked with a geotechnical company. I'm not exactly sure what they did, but I know that he was very knowledgeable about the Earth. Does anyone know what geotechnical companies do exactly?
I've been wanting to get the rocks around my house removed, since they make the yard look bad. I haven't been sure where to take them, but then my friend says that they have someone come in to remove their rocks. Then they can use the rocks for other things later on.
This is such a cool stair lift. I have been wanting to find something like this for my grandmother. Her knees just don't work like they used to. I worry that she is having a hard time going up and down the stairs.
