January 4 — Elvis Presley. On this day in 1954, Elvis recorded one of his very first demos at Sun Studio in Memphis, Tenn, which lead him to become one of the greatest entertainers of all time with a catalog of music that spans decades and 33 feature films. Even to this day, his gyrating hips are ever-so-swoon-worthy and his legend will live on through his music, good looks, and a small army of Elvis impersonators world wide.
