Zebra Ornamental Grass Impressive and exotic looking, growing 4-7 ft. tall and spreading to 3-5 ft. Emerald-green foliage will develop golden stripes midsummer, and silvery plumes appear in autumn and last through the winter. Does best in full sun, as an accent or grouping. Hardy and will tolerate drought and a wide range of soil conditions. Potted plants. Zones 4-9.
Cutting Back and Dividing Ornamental Grasses -Preparing For Spring
from High Meadow farms-- use some of theirs: mixed fountain grasses plus pee gee hydrangea, white echinacea ("White Swan"), plus possibly some oak leaf or Annabelle, plus possibly low white carpet rose. Maybe add Icicle White Veronica or similar. Do Russian sage and grasses near steps.
