An interesting RPG game for the 8-bit NES system. I liked it because it follows the same story as Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Never finished it, though.

Wizards & Warriors has some of my favorite NES music, strangely enough.

Base Wars is still one of the most innovative sports games I've ever played. It mixed a baseball game with a Street Fighter-esque battle mechanic and level building. Fascinating game from Konami's ill-fated Ultra Games division.

I spent many hours floating around the bizarre world of James Clavell's Shogun for Commodore 64. For some reason, everyone could float. You'd have to make allies with other floaters, and some floaters would just be out to kill you no matter what. So the trick was to run around gathering all these different magic items and stuff in a vain attempt to protect yourself. It was weird, but strangely addictive.

We rented Shingen the Ruler for a few weeks. It's basically Hot-B's attempt to cash in on the Koei strategy game craze. It's still pretty good, though.
