The Bubble Building by DUS Architects. At the very centre of breezy Rotterdam, lies the world’s most fragile and temporary pavilion: The Bubble Building. The temporary pavilion does justice to its name, as it is entirely made of soap bubbles.
"Slipstream Installation": Translating a 2D digital line drawing into 3D, this installation at the Bridge Gallery in NYC captures the dynamics of turbulence in a colored gradient of (what looks to be) Foamcore board. While this is an art installation rather that architecture, the interlocking technique could be used effectively in (for instance) a retail store. | Freeland Buck Architecture
