Rapunzel in "Tangled" is the 2010 princess, said to be following the trend of strong, determined women. At the beginning of the film however, it already seems to be following Disney/fairy tale archetypes. This beautiful baby girl is kidnapped from her parents and raised by an evil witch who poses as her mother. In a sense, she grows up an orphan.

30 Day Disney Challenge Day 2: Who is your Favorite Disney princess? Rapunzel from Tangled is my favorite. If I was a princess, this would be me. She's silly and quirky, but more importantly she has faith in her dreams. I love how Disney makes strong and confident women who have hope in themselves. So many little girls can look up to them.
