The Last Will and Testament of the Late William H. Vanderbilt with Portrait, published (1886) by Taggart & Miller, 1580 Broadway, New York.  He was Consuelo Vanderbilt's grandfather. His will established sons Cornelius II and William K. as patriarchs of the family.

Don Cornelius- Age 75  creator of the successful dance and music show, Soul Train. also a television host. In 2012, Don ended his life by shooting himself in the head. His son revealed that Don had been in extreme pain before his death... also reportedly suffered from multiple seizures owing to a brain operation in 1982.
