This is a propaganda poster from World War 2. This is a primary source as it was a poster that was posted around the streets and such. This is a propaganda poster that is talking about the food consumption in World War 2. In World War 2 the army needed more food to be fed so they wanted food, so they started to tell people to eat less and donated food to the National Wartime Nutrition Program. There were poster like this and others but they had the same message "Save food for the army/Navy"
This website has a huge amount of foreign posters, some are harder to decipher than others but it is interesting to try and figure out what they're for (with the limited German I can read!) http://www.ww1propaganda.com/world-war-1-posters/german-ww1-propaganda-posters?page=5
This is a picture from World war 2 of the bombing of Pearl Harbour. This is a primary source because it was taken as the Japanese let their bombs go on Pearl Harbour. The incident of Pearl Harbour was when the Japanese had released bombs on to a US base that was being used as support for the allied of the US in World War 2. This was the spark that officially got the US into World War 2.
