More than 95% of all documentary Civil War photos were taken by northern photographers within Union lines, but among the best of the 5% is an early war series of photos of Mississippi soldiers in Florida. At least six views show Confederates drilling and, in this detail, at leisure in camp. Very cool photo from the Huntington Library.
