Koryaks (or Koriak) are an indigenous people of Kamchatka Krai in the Russian Far East, who inhabit the coastlands of the Bering Sea to the south of the Anadyr basin and the country to the immediate north of the Kamchatka Peninsula, the southernmost limit of their range being Tigilsk, Russia. They are akin to the Chukchis, whom they closely resemble in culture and physique.

Success story 2: Martha Mnguni did not have it easy being a single mother of a disabled child and unemployed. Then her brother told her about the GetOn school and Martha registered for the Bake for Profit course. She currently sells her baked products at a taxi rank during the weekend and has recorded a profit of Euro 45 per week. She is now creating a sustainable income! With 2 weeks to go in the course, we look forward to seeing the smile on her face when she starts her business full time!

Curandera Maria Sonora, known as La Huila was the mentor to Teresa Urrea, a famous curandera (Mexican Mestiza/Yaqui) who lived in Sonora and Arizona from 1871-1906. GetOn Skills Development Centre is a job creation centre that uplifts the skills of hundreds of disadvantaged and unemployed people per year in the Pretoria West area. Through skill specific training we strive to develop graduates economically, socially and emotionally in order for them to become self-supportive and financially independent.
