If It Were My Home is a really cool website for comparing different countries to the U.S. or to each other.  ESOL tutors may find it interesting to look up countries that their students are from for their own knowledge, or it could be used as a class activity for students to learn more about their classmates' countries of origin.  GED tutors helping their students with Social Studies may find it helpful to use with their students as well.
