Leeds Inspired gave details of the Closing Film: Three Bilboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri on at Leeds Town Hall on Nov 16! It won the Virgin Train's Audience Award for best film at the festival! The film is about a mother (Frances McDormand) who sends out a controversial message to the revered police chief after months without an arrest in her daughter’s murder.
A multi-storey car park for the University of Leeds is the best piece of architecture I've found in this UK town. This reminds me to never underestimate any building category, beauty can be really found anywhere. No exception for car parking spaces.

Leeds Inspired gave details of Wonderstruck on which was on Nov 16th at Vue, the Light. Todd Haynes' follow up to Carol which was on at LIFF in 2015. Set across 1977 and 1927 it is another lush and sensuous tale of dual yearnings in New York City. Two young kids set out from their small-town homes to seek an absent parent. Each heads for the Big Apple, and faces the same challenge of hearing-impairment.
