Makes 2 Filet Mignons: 2 beef tenderloin steaks (cut 1" thick), 2 tsp olive oil, 1/4 tsp onion powder, salt & Pepper to taste, 2 tbsp. minced shallot, 2 slices bacon 1.Place oven rack in it's highest position & set to Broil. 2.Rub steaks with olive oil. Sprinkle w onion powder, then w salt and pepper. Wrap bacon around each steak, and secure with a toothpick. 3.Place steaks onto a broiler pan, & broil for 5 to 7 minutes. Turn over & sprinkle w shallots. Broil for additional 5 to 7 minutes.
