Dry, quite soft, almost balanced. Med persistency with dark fruits and herbal notes and a full body. BP: Buy...it's a good price and a good wine. Not perfect, but good.

2011 Arnaldo Caprai Montefalco Rosso DOC, 14% - Sangiovese/Sagrantino, 8.50 euro Deep ruby red, garnet reflections with leather mixed with dark cherry and dark fruits on the nose. Also, a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it was dry, warm, quite soft, quite balanced - the alcohol level was a touch too noticeable. Full body with cherry in oak, tobacco, tar, spices, and it came with a nice chewy mouthfeel. All in all, a pleasurable wine. BP: Buy

On the palate, it's dry, quite soft with good acidity and tannins. It's medium full of body with black fruits, dark berries, vanilla and chocolate. Very good. BP: Buy
