I. M. Pei, Born: April 26, 1917 (age 96), Chinese-born American architect, designed the glass pyramid in front of the Louvre Museum in Paris, the John Hancock Tower in Boston, Massachusetts and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio
If I had to come up with a favorite architect, it would be I.M. Pei. Many buildings around Boston and around the world that I have liked, I have looked up and found out they are by I.M. Pei. I guess I like glass. His pyramids in the Courtyard of Napoleon in front of the Louvre Museum are spectacular. I know they had some critics when they first were built, but what great art doesn't?
