Ottoman yataghan / yatagan, circa 1800, slightly curving blade and tapering point, the spine and sides decorated with bands of gold overlay consisting of undulating leafy and floral vines, one side with an inscription-filled cartouche, the silver-gilt hilt and scabbard with repousse decoration consisting of profuse floral motifs, 76 cm. long. A Victorian silver gilt posy holder of conical form with beaded rim above a band of turquoise beads, hung with chain decoration, the body engraved with Greek key and anthemion borders above another band of turquoise beads, on hinged tripod legs.

John Bridge (1755-1834)  Verrière (part of The Grand Service)  hallmark 1826/7. A set of 24 circular silver gilt verrières; the rim cast with a band of shamrocks, roses and thistles on a matt ground. The bombé body is cast with rounded arches and applied with the Royal supporters in relief, the coat of arms and GIVR monogram. Two figural handles issue from acanthus leaves at the sides.
