Bill Viola's The Veiling is one of my favorite installations. I saw it at his Whitney retrospective & was so immersed in the sound & visuals that when I walked outside the exhibit I had to sit down from being so disoriented.

After a few weeks the room is transformed from a blank canvas into an explosion of colour, with thousands of spots stuck over every available surface.
