How to Can Diced Tomatoes (a step-by-step tutorial)

Planting tomatoes with a couple of aspirin and some crushed chicken egg shells. The aspirin is to help jump start the plants immune system. Ill put three or four crushed egg shells into the hole as well. The eggs supply a nice calcium boost, which will help prevent blossom end rot, that nasty brown patch on the bottom of tomatoes that lack calcium (the fish head bones and bone meal also help with that).

Tomatoes need calcium to achieve their full flavor potential. When planting tomato plants crush up (to powder) about 4 or 5 egg shells and put them in the bottom of the hole. Then plant tomato on top. They'll provide calcium and prevent blossom end rot.
